Dog #67 - Rottweiler Pup ACEO

My first ACEO - this is 2-1/2 x 3-1/2 inches, painted in watercolors on 140lb watercolor paper. It is SO CUTE! I had seen the abbreviation ACEO for awhile now - but had not taken the time to find out what it meant. Well, it is original art in any medium but the size must be 2-1/2 x 3-1/2 inches. So I had to try painting one - and I discovered 2 things. First, it takes just as long to paint this size as it does to paint one of the 5x7's. Second - its fun!!

Dog #64 - Frodo

Many years ago I owned a beagle - we named him Frodo - yes, after the hobbit but long, long before the movie!! I walked to town one day to do some quick shopping. Frodo got out of our yard and followed me - by scent. He tracked me to the first store I visited, sat down and waited for me to come out. But I had already left that one.

After I got home, I found him gone - so I waited for Frodo to return. About dinner time, I went out looking for him - found him sitting outside the store. He must have waited there for 3 or 4 hours!
